Wales Strongest Man 2015 Lyons Holiday Park

Llyr Hughes competed in the Wales strongest man at Lyons Holiday park this year with 200 spectators. Llyr was the youngest there at the age  of 20. Although he did not come first he was there for the experience for future events to represent Wales.

Last years winner was Simon Johnson from Rhyl , he did not compete this year with a leg injury but was there to commentate. This year’s  winner was Mark Jeans from South Wales.

This year all the other competitors had a much better and high end training facilities and Llyr feels held back due to the poor conditions he’s been training in for the last 2 years .  That’s why Llyr needs new facilities because for Llyr it will be a big benefit.
